First Visit

Here at Cook Orthodontics, we are always excited about the opportunity to meet new patients and discover how our team can help them achieve and maintain a new, beautiful smile. We know that your first time seeing an orthodontist can be daunting, but rest assured that we will welcome you to our office with friendly smiles and make you feel right at home. Whether it is metal braces, clear braces, or Invisalign that you are interested in, from the first day you enter our office you will be treated with exceptional care and professionalism in safe and comfortable surroundings.

Your first visit will last about 60 minutes, and will consist of a thorough examination and a discussion of your potential treatment options. During the examination, we will address the following questions like, Is there a condition that orthodontics can address? Is treatment needed now or should treatment be delayed until appropriate growth, tooth eruption or other factors have occurred? What treatment procedures will be used to correct the problem? Do any permanent teeth need to be removed? How long will treatment take? How much will it cost? and What are my payment options?

Financial

Orthodontic treatment is an excellent investment in your dental and overall health so we do not want financial concerns to be an obstacle in proceeding with treatment. Therefore, zero interest payment arrangements can be customized to meet your personal financial needs. Discounts are offered for multiple family members and payment in full. Please contact the office with any further questions regarding finances or payment arrangements.

Insurance

Many patients now have orthodontic benefits as part of their dental insurance plan, and we accept most PPO insurance plans. We will be glad to check your specific insurance plan to determine your orthodontic benefit. As a courtesy to you, we will file all necessary insurance and financial documentation.

We will help in every way we can in handling insurance questions from our office on your behalf. For families with flex spending or cafeteria plans, we will assist you in maximizing those benefits. Please provide us with your insurance information prior to your first visit and on our New Patient Forms so that we can inform you of your benefit that day.
